Cross-Realm Battlegrounds
For the first time in the history of World of Warcraft, you will be able to face off against players from other realms in the Battlegrounds. PvP Battlegrounds link Alterac Valley, Warsong Gulch, and Arathi Basin so that players from several realms will be combined into one huge matchmaking pool. Replenish your mana, sharpen your blades, and get ready for some brand-new challengers!
World PvP
Wow.com has updated the World of Warcraft Wallpapers section with a new wallpaper featuring Upper Blackrock Spire. Click here to check it out.
The Blizzard Fan Art Section has also been updated with new pieces of artwork.
Good stuff in the pipe for Rogues as the review period continues and tweaks are made. Here’s a snip from Drysc’s post:
- Murder has been changed to increase damage caused against Humanoid, Giant, Beast, and Dragonkin by 1%/2%.
- Remorseless Attacks has been reduced to 2 ranks, with the new effectiveness being 20% and 40%.
- Endurance has been changed to reduce the cooldown of your Sprint and Evasion abilities by 45 sec/1.5 min. It no longer increases the duration of Evasion.

July 12, 2006 - It’s no secret that an MMO must continue to evolve and add content to keep people coming back, and World of Warcraft is no different. Since its launch in November 2004, we’ve seen the introduction of several large dungeons, zones, and seasonal celebrations, not to mention new loot, crafting recipes, and Battlegrounds, the popular PvP arenas that Blizzard will be enhancing with cross-realm support in the upcoming 1.12 patch (which, interestingly, will be available on the Public Test Realm ahead of the patch’s final release)…………..
