During the invasion of the Burning Legion in the Third War, the powerful sorcerers of the Kirin Tor matched their mastery of the arcane against their demonic adversaries. Yet the might of the Scourge and the Legion was such that when they inevitably fell, their bodies would simply rise again in service of that which they had given their lives to defeat. Frustrated with the mages’ inability to truly make a difference, the archmage Arugal decided to go against the advice of his peers. He summoned extra-dimensional entities known as Worgen-half man, half wolf-to the aid of his fellow mages.

Gamasutra is reporting that according to the NPD Group, World of Warcraft is back in it’s number 1 spot for best selling PC Games.

Blizzard’s popular MMO World of Warcraft climbed up from its previous number three spot to claim the top spot on the chart, followed by the retail SKU of the EA-published newcomer Half-Life 2: Episode 1 in the second position.
