Not so fast.
I guess I wasn’t the only one thinking this, but someone decided to ask about the possibility of trading with people from other realms when they enter a crossover battleground together. Well Blizzard was quick to give an answer regarding this:
You will not be able to trade with other people from other realms. You will still only be able to trade with people within your own realm.
Sorry intrepid entreprenuers, looks like Blizzard thought of everything here!

A few weeks ago Blizzard posted on their site about the World of Warcraft boardgame. Being as how we happen to enjoy WoW we thought it might be nice to give the game a shot so we gave the folks over at Fantasy Flight Games a call. They sent us a copy of World of Warcraft The Board Game and we decided to give it a shot …
Like any planned event, we started late, but we were pretty excited. Fantasy Flight Games was kind enough to send us a review copy of their World of Warcraft boardgame, and if there’s anything we love as much as computer games, it’s boardgames.
Right about now you’re probably wondering what a World of Warcraft boardgame would be like. Is it a rebranded Monopoly? Does it play like Risk? You’d probably be surprised. Here’s the concept: Two teams of 2-3 characters, balanced evenly between Horde and Alliance, spend 30 rounds exploring Lordaeron, completing quests, gaining levels, training skills, gathering equipment, and generally preparing for a large battle. There are two ways to win - either one team manages to kill the overlord, essentially a boss mob, or there is a final PvP battle to determine the winner.

A new patch is being released on the public test realms today according to this post on the official general forums:
The public test realms will go live tomorrow, July 6, at 10:00 AM PDT. This small bug fix patch will address many outstanding issues with patch 11.
